It’s incredible how one day you can be a wedding photographer in Mallorca, and just a few days later, you find yourself suiting up as a wedding photographer in the Pyrenees. 2025 is turning out to be a year of reflection, a truly important one for us. New goals, new milestones, and most importantly, a deep internal shift that’s making us realize how fortunate we are. Every time we think about all the couples who planned their wedding around our availability in 2024, my mind blows. I’ll never get tired of thanking you for that. And this big change we’re undergoing in these first 26 days of January is for you and because of you.

If you’ve noticed, fewer and fewer blogs, full wedding galleries, and complete stories are being shared these days. I think that’s a mistake because we need to be honest—a wedding isn’t just 10 photos on a feed. Behind it lies a big, unique story that deserves the value it holds, beyond just tagging all the vendors on Instagram to gain followers. 2025 is going to be the year where we put the focus where it should have always been, making it hard on ourselves because, let’s be real, choosing just 40 photos out of the 450 I selected as favorites from Irene & Borja’s wedding is a guaranteed way to make mistakes, haha.

I got hooked, connected to their story—pure magnetism. Raquel fell in love with them from the moment she met them. Overflowing energy and a sense of calm that’s absolutely cinematic—a combination that seems impossible, I know, but those who know them understand what I’m talking about.

Squeezing every moment to the fullest—it sounds simple, but I assure you, they understand this concept well. Maybe it’s because life hasn’t made it easy for them, but happiness waits for the brave—the ones who have the guts to jump on a moving train, backpacks full of stones, without stepping on others trying to get on, ensuring their loved ones don’t get left behind, and giving up their spot if necessary. The definition of FRIENDSHIP in its purest form—that’s who they are.

I’ll leave you with them and their surely “wrong” selection of photos. But I have to admit, I’ve enjoyed the three hours it took me to prepare this—on a lovely Sunday with a good cup of coffee. I hope you’re enjoying the changes we’re making on social media too. And just so you know, this year will finally be the year we get caught up with everything and go back to normal delivery times. By the end of March, we aim to have delivered all the weddings from 2024 and move on to the first two weddings of 2025 that will already be in progress. See you around here, lovelies!
